Overview
This Hyderabad-based technical position focuses on configuring, extending, and integrating AEM Assets to power a global digital asset management foundation. You will drive digital transformation within MSD's technology center, architecting backend configurations, custom workflows, and API connections to automate digital content lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Architecture & Setup: Structure schemas, folder setups, user access permissions, and processing settings within AEM Assets.
- Custom Workflows & APIs: Develop OSGi services, automated workflow engines, and metadata extraction pipelines using Java.
- Platform Integrations: Build scalable connections using Adobe I/O and REST APIs to link AEM Assets with adjacent platforms such as Adobe Workfront, Adobe Express, and digital asset repositories.
- Governance & Automation: Build interface extensions with Adobe App Builder and React to track AI-generated assets and enforce metadata standards.
- Operations: Maintain smooth release pipelines via Adobe Cloud Manager and monitor platform health on AEMaaCS.
Required Skills
- Java backend development specifically targeting AEM (Sling, OSGi, Maven).
- Direct hands-on experience building custom AEM workflows and platform integrations.
- Working familiarity with cloud-native hosting via AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and Cloud Manager deployment pipelines.
- API development utilizing REST protocols and event-based architectures.
Eligibility
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- 7 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience centered on Adobe Experience Manager (specifically AEM Assets).
